Critics Attack Kerry's Iraq Troops Plan (RON FOURNIER, August 3, 2004, AP)

John Kerry says he can "put a deal together" as president to drastically reduce U.S. troop strength in Iraq, a pledge reminiscent of Richard Nixon's secret plan to end the Vietnam War and Dwight D. Eisenhower's promise to stop fighting in Korea.

Was there a single moment during those twenty years in the Senate that Mr. Kerry dreamed of having these words follow his name "reminiscent of Richard Nixon"?

Bush could pull all the troops out of Iraq, as well, at will...
Doesn't mean it's a good idea.

And I thought Kerry was proud of having fought against Richard Nixon's war. At this rate, Kerry will soon be claiming to be FDR, JFK, and LBJ all rolled into one - the greatest Democrat of all time!

The Kerry candidacy is UNRAVELLING before our eyes. Question: will he survive until election day???

If Edwards took the reigns, chose a VIP, they'd be better off. You know they're whispering about it.

Frosty and Chili are not appealing to voters.
